#1. Introduction

In this guide, I’m going to uncover the exact secret strategy that I use to generate passive income as an affiliate.

The best part is that since this method is ‘INVISIBLE’ you don’t have to jump in front of a camera, create any videos or do anything out of your comfort zone.

#2. Overview of the method

In this guide, I’m going to show you how you can start a passive online business via affiliate marketing, using a traffic source that you may already know.

That’s Solo ads!

One of the most underrated yet effective traffic sources. To sum up, Solo ads are kind of like an email advertisement, where you pay someone else to email your offer to their email list.

I know some of you may be skeptical but trust me, with the things that I’m going to teach you in this guide, you will be buying 100% profitable Solo ads by the time you’re done reading.

I’m going to show you how to:

  • Find trust-able solo ad vendors that drive premium traffic to your offers.
  • Find winning products on affiliate platforms.
  • Set up your own autoresponder service to capture the leads.
  • Create high-converting landing pages.
  • Setup advanced tracking to track in detail the actions and steps your traffic is taking.

By the time you’re done with all of these steps – you will be making money.

Let’s begin!

#3. Solo Ads & finding the right vendors

In my previous post, I shared with you a list of the best solo ad vendors for the biz opp & mmo niches. But in this tutorial, I will show you more details on how you can find the right vendor that suits you in ANY niches.

The single most effective traffic source that I have used to generate thousands of dollars with affiliate marketing is none other than Solo ads.

I know most of you might have heard of Solo ads before and might have even gone through some of the solo ad training and it didn’t work out for you.

But hey, you can’t blame the traffic source for that. It didn’t work for you, doesn’t means it doesn’t work.

For example: Facebook ads – you see so many people are doing Facebook ads to sell their products and if you have too tried and failed that doesn’t mean that Facebook ads are a bad source of traffic.

The same applies to Solo ads, if you have tried it previously and they didn’t work out for you, we’re going to make sure that doesn’t happen again.

What are Solo Ads?

Solo ads are basically email traffic or email advertisement where you pay someone else to send your offer to their email leads.

They’ll be sending email blasts to their list until they reach the amount of clicks you have ordered. You would usually pay them in regards to the traffic you receive from them (cost-per-click).

Top Solo Ads directories

There are two top Solo ads directories that I use to make money with affiliate marketing. These directories will help you pick the best solo ad vendors eliminating any risk factors on you.

  • SoloAdsX

soloadsx-homepage-solo-ads-affiliate-marketing

udimi-homepage-solo-ads-affiliate-marketing

99% of the time the reason behind a failing Solo ad campaign is because the traffic sent by the vendor is not on par or the offer you’re sending the traffic to is low converting.

These directories will help you get in touch with top-class vendors who can send really high-quality traffic that is guaranteed to bring you sales. And further, in this guide, I will go over how you can choose offers that are easy to sell.

But for now, let’s take a look at SoloAdsX directory.

soloadsx-directory-top-sellers

You can see how against every vendor there is a magic score. This magic score is made up of different factors including but not limited to positive reviews and reports of sales from vendors traffic. So, the higher the magic score, the more reputable the vendor.

Let’s take a quick look at Udimi too.

udimi-directory-find-sellers

Udimi categorizes their vendors into niches for your ease. Once you open the related niche, a list of vendors opens up.

Similar to SoloAdsX, you will be able to see the number of positive ratings and percentage of sales from the traffic of that vendor.

Remember I said one of the main reasons behind a failed Solo ad campaign is the vendor sending you the traffic? Now, I will show you how you can find top vendors that will deliver high-quality traffic to your offers.

I prefer Udimi over SoloAdsX so let me take you inside the Udimi dashboard. I will skip the signup process because it’s pretty simple on either platform.

udimi-overview-key-metrics

As the image above, you can see there are 3 key metrics:

  • Price per visitor/click.
  • Percentage of ratings where buyers report sales. (over 30% is fine)
  • Ratings from buyers. (positive/negative)

And those are the 3 most important factors to determine which vendor is good.

Based on this, you can select the best vendor that fits your needs and budget.

When you click on any vendor, you will be able to define the dates you want the traffic on, how much traffic you want, and a few other options that are pretty much self-explanatory.

udimi-vendors-overview

You will also be able to see the number of positive ratings and percentage of ratings where buyers report “Got sales” from the traffic of the vendors again, and a few other metrics like how big of a list does the vendor have and what percent of the traffic is coming from top tier ‘buyer’ countries.

udimi-vendors-top-tier-countries-ratings

Once you find the vendor suitable for your needs, just go ahead and order. It’s pretty simple!

PRO-TIP:

Before you order, I’d like to go over a thing that has really helped me get better traffic from the vendors.

That’s find and approach the vendor on social networks like Facebook.

When I find the vendor on Facebook not only I can ask them for a discount which usually works out very well. I have been able to get as much as a 20% discount.

I can also ask them what kind of offers work best for their list. This way I only select the related offers and make even more money.

One of the biggest mistakes I have seen people make is picking offers before vendors. Look, every vendor has a different sub-niched list.

If you want great results, you need to make sure that you are picking offers only related to that vendor. DO NOT ever first find the offer and then the vendor.

Get in touch with the vendor, talk to him and ask him what kind of offers works best for him.

So, let’s say if you want to drive traffic in the health & fitness niche, what you can do is approach the vendor and ask what kind of offers work best for his list. Now let’s say he says that his list best responds to Keto offers, you can go and find an offer related to that.

You’re now only re-affirming the belief that the offer will convert.

#4. Finding a high converting offer

Alright, so you have found the vendor now and it’s time to go fishing for the best offer. This is one of the hardest parts because you really need to know what you’re looking for. A really good offer is what will make or break your entire campaign.

There are 3 platforms that I highly recommend you look into when looking for a related offer. Especially if you’re in the market for anything related to Bizopp, Make Money Online, MLM or CPA offers.

Now you can obviously go ahead and search for offers on any of those platforms but I’m going to deep dive into my favorite platform first – WarriorPlus.

WarriorPlus

warriorplus-homepage-affiliate-marketing

I will hook you up with my top-performing Make Money Online offers that have generated me thousands of dollars in the past couple of months.

You can go and request your affiliate links for these offers by visiting the JV Page here:

Besides those offers, you can also look for more offers under Affiliate > Offers (Click here to visit the page directly)

warriorplus-affiliate-offers

The criteria I follow to find the best converting offers is as follows:

  • More than 1,000 sales. (this affirms that high conversions are not a fluke)
  • Converting at over 20%.
  • Avg sale value of $35+.
  • Less than 8% refund rate.

Keeping all of these things in mind, you can go and fish for the perfect offer that will convert well with Solo ads traffic.

Once you’ve found the perfect offer, you can request your affiliate links by clicking on the ‘Request’ button.

If you are not approved within 24 hours, look up the vendor and approach them on Facebook or Skype and ask them that you’d like to promote their offer via YouTube, Email list, Website, etc,… and if they can approve you.

Do not mention “Solo ads” because most vendors will not like you promote their products via Solo ads. This can affect their conversion rate and they don’t like that.

This typically results in an approval 90% of the time but don’t get disheartened if the vendor doesn’t approve you. There are a lot of offers out there and you will surely find something relevant. If anything, it’s the vendors’ own loss.

ClickBank

The biggest platform of our industry. If you’re looking for offers besides Bizopp, MMO I would highly recommend checking out Clickbank. They have thousands of offers in every niche you can think of.

Even tho the idea is almost the same on all 3 platforms, the best way to find a high converting offer differs from platform to platform.

The good thing about Clickbank is once you have successfully signed up, you don’t need to ask for approval from vendors. You can literally pick and promote any product you want. No approval required.

This means that you won’t be wasting time waiting for vendors to approve your links.

To find the best offer on Clickbank, first login to your Clickbank account and then click on the category you want to see the offers for on the left navigation menu.

clickbank-affiliate-offers-categories

This will load up all the offers for that category.

What you want to do now is filter the products by gravity from ‘High to Low’.

clickbank-choose-affiliate-offers-gravity

On Clickbank, the primary metric you’re looking for on any offer is the ‘GRAVITY’.

This denotes a score of multiple things combined including but not limited to Earnings per click, conversion rate and average sale.

Any gravity above 30 is a good score. You’re looking only for offers that have higher gravity than that. Anything lower than 30 – you don’t even touch that. Doesn’t matter however compelling you find that offer to be.

Once you’ve found the right offer, you can go ahead and click on the promote button and that should open a new popup that will give you an option to generate your link.

clickbank-generate-hoplink

You can optionally also add a tracking ID to track clicks from a specific source. So let’s say if you’re purchasing solo ads from 2 different vendors, you can generate 2 different links with 2 different tracking IDs to know who is driving more traffic and sales, etc..

Now that you have the affiliate link, you can send that to the solo ad vendor and he can start promoting your offer.

In most cases, the solo ad vendor will request you to provide more details or email campaigns for the product you gave him the affiliate link for.

You can simply go to the affiliate/JV page of the offer and find the email campaigns there. You can send those email swipes to the solo ad vendor and he can use the swipes in his campaign, accordingly.

JVZoo

Finding a well-converting product on JVZoo is pretty simple and similar to how WarriorPlus and Clickbank works.

On JVZoo, you will be able to find products that are more so software-oriented. These will be spread over different niches so you can freely scroll and look for the right ones.

To look for products, you can hover over ‘Affiliates’ and click on ‘Find Products’.

jvzoo-affiliate-find-products

On the next page, you will be able to see a list of all the products on JVZoo, you can sort these with categories.

Now you can obviously go ahead and promote any product you want, however, what I would highly recommend is looking for products in the Make Money Online or Internet Marketing niche since that works best.

jvzoo-affiliate-find-products-choose-niche

The criteria I follow to find the best converting offers is as follows (very similar to W+):

  • More than 1,000 sales.
  • Converting at over 20% for the Funnel & 15% on the Front End.
  • Avg sale value of $35+.
  • Less than 8% refund rate.

Keeping all of these things in mind, you can go and fish for the perfect offer that will convert well with Solo ad traffic.

Once you’ve found the perfect offer, you can request your affiliate links by clicking on the ‘Request approval’ button.

Similar to W+, if you are not approved within 24 hours, look up the vendor and approach them on Facebook or Skype and ask them that you’d like to promote their offer. But remember that “Solo Ads” is not included in your request message.

On JVZoo, you will mostly find products that are software-related. Now, this is usually good because the software has a higher perceived value and everyone needs automation in their business. Nothing excites people more than a tool that will make them money.

Note: Ideally look for products that were launched within the last 2 years. Not a lot of products are kept well maintained on the JVZoo platform so you need to make sure that the product you are promoting is up and running to make sure you don’t get refunds.

#5. Creating a bridge page & driving traffic

Alright so by now you have found the solo ad vendor and the offer. It’s time you start driving the traffic. But before you do that – you need a bridge page.

What is a bridge page? It’s a page that you will build and it will act as a bridge between the traffic coming from the solo ad vendor and your affiliate link.

The goal of a bridge page is simple. It’s to capture a leads email address before they get to see the offer you’re about to promote to them. Why? So you can market other products to them later on.

I’m gonna go into detail about bridge pages and stuff in the next couple of paragraphs, but before that, what we need to do is create an account on an email autoresponder service to capture and keep these leads on.

Step #1: Setup autoresponder

Now there are majorly 3 main autoresponders that allow you to promote affiliate/make money online offers.

  • Aweber
  • ActiveCampaign (Pretty strict)

I use GetResponse myself and recommend everyone to use that.

Of course you can use any service you like, but I recommend using GetResponse so that’s what I’m going to go over.

Once you have signed up for an account on GetResponse here (30 days free trial), you will be asked to create a ‘List’ – a list is basically an easier way for you to organize your leads/contacts.

Go ahead and do that. It’s pretty simple and self-explanatory, to be honest.

getresponse-create-list-demo

On the next page, you will be asked to name and describe your email list, you can create a different list for every niche/product you promote. There are no limits as far as the number of lists goes.

Once you’re done with your email list setup, the next step is to create a Signup form.

getresponse-create-form-demo

The purpose of the signup form is to collect subscribers from your bridge page (opt-in/capture page).

GetResponse gives you the option to select from their library of templates or build your own signup form. You can do either. Nothing too fancy is required. Simplicity is the key!

getresponse-create-form-example

You can go ahead and save the form once you are done. The next step is very important, read carefully.

On the next page, you need to define the Thank you page.

The thank-you page is the page where anyone who successfully submits your form will be redirected to.

You need to make sure you select ‘Custom’ from the drop-down and add your Thank you page link (recommended) or directly to your affiliate link of the offer you are promoting (not recommended).

You can go ahead and save this now.

getresponse-create-form-thank-you-page

On the next page, you will be shown a JavaScript Code you can use to embed the form on your own page.

getresponse-create-form-publish-javascript-code

Keep that handy, next I’m going to show you how you can build a bridge page and embed this form on it and finally start capturing leads.

Step #2: Page builder

Note: I’m using MaxButtons WordPress Plugin (Free) for all the buttons on my website.

GrooveFunnels

Alternative to ClickFunnels, normally $99/month but now Free Lifetime Accounts to GroovePages and GrooveSell. No Credit Card Required. Ever! (limited time offer).

It’s NOT just a Page & Funnel builder. Inside, you’ll get all of the tools you need to run your online business.

Page Builder by SiteOrigin

You can use a free WordPress plugin called Page Builder by SiteOrigin. It also offers a premium version but does not need to upgrade.

page-builder-by-siteorigin-bridge-page

Pros:

  • It’s very easy to use & free.
  • Drag & drop page builder.
  • No coding skills required.
  • All the widgets and modules are responsive.
  • Lightweight and efficient.
  • Live editing.
  • Works with any themes.

Cons:

  • You need a website.
  • Using this plugin to build simple pages is okay, not for complex pages.

If you need help to build your page, go here to get the documentation & support or just leave a comment in the section below and tell me your problems.

As I mentioned above, to use this plugin, you need a website means that you also need a webhosting & a domain name to build a website.

GO TO PAGE BUILDER BY SITEORIGIN HERE!

In addition, you can also use some other page builder services that I also recommend, such as:

  • Elementor (both free & paid, need a website)

Step #3: Driving traffic

Now your bridge page (opt-in/capture page) is ready, you can go ahead and provide this URL to your Solo ad vendors. I recommend purchasing solo ads on Udimi!

SIGN UP FOR A FREE UDIMI ACCOUNT & GET $5 OFF!

When the vendor drives the traffic to this page, the visitors will first have to opt-in and then after opt-in will be redirected to your affiliate offer. Get ready to make sales and make money!

But to get the best results, I recommend you use the strategic model of professional affiliate below:

Buys traffic > Capture page > Bridge page* > Sales page.

professional-affiliate-strategy-model-solo-ads-affiliate-marketing

*Bridge page here can be a thank you page, review page (see example), youtube video, blog post, etc,. including your affiliate links inside, just like my ‘thank you’ page I’ve shown above.

#6. The bottom line

This is the end of my ultimate guide on the use of solo ads for affiliate marketing.

I hope that after you read this guide completely, you can take advantage of solo ads in the most effective way to generate more passive income as an affiliate.

So if you have any questions, just hit me up or leave a comment in the section right below. I’m always here to help you succeed!

Thanks for reading! 🙂
